Stop #1 Wawanosh Wetland Conservation Area (Sarnia)
After that long car ride, what better way to stretch your legs then to stop by the Wawanosh Wetland Conservation Area and walk on the beautiful trails. With over 2.5 km of trails available, ponds, marshes and beautiful scenery, this conservation area is sure to not disappoint. After your walk, we know you’re going to be hungry. Head back to the car and get ready for your next stop!
Drive along the scenic on road Great Lakes Waterfront Trail and admire the timeless landscape as you head to your next destination.

Stop #2 Sunripe (Sarnia)
Stop by one of our local businesses, Sunripe, to shop for fresh, delicious food items for your lunch. Browse a large selection of fresh sandwiches, sliced fruits and delicious snacks available for purchase, to pack for lunch at your next stop! Hop back onto the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail to head towards the beach to enjoy your fresh lunch.

Stop #3 Canatara Beach (Sarnia)
Once you’ve arrived at one of our beautiful blue flag beaches, you can park the car and head out to one of the many picnic benches to enjoy your lunch. Take in all the nature that surrounds you at the park, check out the animal farm and if you’re feeling up to more walking, check out the multiple trails that wind through the park’s 200 acres. Then when you’re ready, head on down to the beach to swim, tan and admire the crisp, blue beach! Be sure to apply the sunscreen; we’re confident you’ll want to spend several hours here!

Stop #4 Insignia Hotel (Sarnia)
After your afternoon enjoying the blue coast, head to the Insignia hotel to check in and get ready for the rest of your evening. This hotel features great views, free breakfast, and prime location.
You’ll love the relaxing atmosphere and all the amenities offered.

Stop #5 Tin Fiddler (Sarnia)
Ready for dinner and drinks? Great! Downtown Sarnia is ready for you! Head out the door and within walking distance, you’ll find Tin Fiddler, your destination for appetizers, meals and drinks. Enjoy their stylish patio and try their local brews before strolling back to the Insignia Hotel to tuck in for the night.
