A.W. Campbell Conservation Area will be the site of the Annual Maple Syrup Festival. Visitors to the Festival will be able to travel into the past and see how maple syrup was produced by Native Canadians and early pioneers. New this year, HORSE DRAWN WAGON rides between 11:00 and 2:00 each day.
The Alvinston Firemen’s Association will be holding their traditional pancake and sausage meals at the Alvinston Community Centre, just a 5 minute drive from the Conservation Area. Pricing for meals in 2016 were as follows: (updated prices not available yet)
Meal #1- 1 hot dog, 1 beverage, $3.00
Meal #2- 2 pancakes , 2 sausage, 1 beverage , $6.00
Meal #3- 3 pancakes, 3 sausage, 1 beverage, $7.00
Meal #4- 4 pancakes, 1 beverage, $5.00
Extra sausage 50c, Hot dog only $2.50, All Beverages $1.00
Vendors will be set up at the arena on both Saturday and Sunday.
