Mystery History Christmas Tour is a fundraiser for the Camlachie Museum, operated by the Plympton-Wyoming Historical Society. The Tour will include a number of historic sites, including century old homes, churches and other buildings in the Town of Plympton-Wyoming.
Plympton-Wyoming Museum is the Welcome Centre, at which the public can purchase tickets on the day of the tour there are 10 different venues to tour at your leisure. Serving cider and cookies (6745 Camlachie Road, Camlachie).
The Tour includes something for everyone.
The Museum is beaming with new exhibits, including the Military Room with Women of WW1, WW2 & Afghanistan, Early Settlers Family Histories of Plympton & Wyoming, Post War Dutch Immigration and the Great Storm of 1913 on Lake Huron.
Also on tour has 3 Century Homes, History comes to life in a re enactment stop, and land mark Old Buildings come to life, to add to the community spirit.
We are proud to show our area residents the history of Plympton-Wyoming in the beginning (1830,s) and how it has shaped our community today.
We also are show casing the history of the Old Plympton Township Hall at the corner of Oil Heritage Road and the Egremont Road. There is a Craft & Bake Sale at the Hall.
You can have a Wine tasting experience at Alton Winery on Aberarder Line.

Old Plympton Township photos will be displayed. Vendors’ tables in the Hall selling historic replica items such as vintage items, older dolls, wooden toys, etc.
