For close to three decades, Robb Sharp & Lit’l CHICAGO have been bringing their Soul infused Blues to enthusiastic audiences in Canada and the USA.
Lit’l CHICAGO is a throwback to the era of big grooves. Whether it’s a soulful blues ballad or a fiery uptempo shuffle, Lit’l CHICAGO have their own unique and identifiable sound possessing the uncanny ability of sounding familiar enough to keep an audience interested yet fresh enough to keep them wanting more.
The trademark Lit’l Chicago sound is delivered by Robb Sharp on guitar and vocals. Francis Seager plays bass guitar and provides support vocals. The man in the back holding everything together is drummer Harlin Braichet, George Esser plays Hammond B3 and Wulf Von Waldow on Tenor Saxophone.
Lit’l CHICAGO received 1st. place honours at the 2012 and 2013 Great Lakes Blues Society Road to Memphis Blues Challenge and for two years in a row represented Canada, playing their unique blend of soul inspired blues at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis Tennessee. During their 2nd nights performance in Memphis, Lit’l CHICAGO was declared, “The hottest band on Beale Street”
Lit’l CHICAGO continues to expand the boundaries of modern electric Blues but rest assured when Robb, Francis, Harlin, George and Wulf take the stage you will believe…the Blues are in good hands.
