Sarnia Kinsmen Ribfest

June 17, 2022 - June 19, 2022
Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The Sarnia Kinsmen Ribfest has become a marque family-friendly event with an annual attendance of 15,000 . This 3 day event of family fun that has not only been enjoyed by our residents, but by visitors alike. The festival has become a signature event for our community.

Unfortunately, due to the Covid Pandemic, we were unable to host Ribfest last year, however we are back!

Last December, we were able to host a Reverse Drive Thru Santa Claus Parade at Lambton College which was extremely successful. During The Drive Thru Santa Claus parade we were able to collected over $18,000 in monetary donations, nonperishable food and teddy bears. 100% of the donations were distributed to the Inn of the Good Shepard, St Vincent De Paul, the Salvation Army and River City Homeless Shelter

Our goal this year is to once again be able to host a successful and safe Ribfest at Lambton College on Father’s day weekend, for all to enjoy in the safety of their own vehicle or family pods and give back to the community. Guests will be able to drive thru and pick up their meals and have the option of taking it home or enjoying their meal at one of our family pods. The Family pods will be spread out throughout the college’s multiple parking lots and will consist of a 10 x 10 tent with a table and chairs. Families will be able to celebrate father’s day and enjoy their meals in the safety of their own pods.

This event will comply with all health and safety standards and recommendations as set out by Lambton Public health and the provincial Guidelines.

We know that together we can make a difference and still remain safe. Don’t forget to save the date.

If you would to be a part of one of the biggest family events of the year as a sponsor or volunteer see sponsorship package in the sponsor section or apply to be a volunteer.

Once again we thank you for all your support, patience and understanding and look forward to seeing everyone again on June 18-20!
